One Year at Sovran Advisors: Reflecting on Growth, Opportunity, and Family

This past weekend marked our one-year anniversary since joining Sovran Advisors and stepping into the Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) world—a move that has been both exciting and rewarding in ways we couldn’t have imagined.

Transitioning to an RIA model has provided us with the flexibility to better serve clients, the autonomy to build a practice aligned with our values, and the opportunity to market our father-daughter team—something that has been incredibly meaningful.

The Power of Family in Finance

One of the most fulfilling aspects of this journey has been strengthening the father-daughter partnership. Working alongside my father, I’ve had the chance to blend decades of industry wisdom with fresh perspectives, allowing us to create a truly multigenerational approach to financial planning. Clients value not just the continuity we provide, but also the unique perspectives that come from combining different experiences and insights.
